Old Gallery URLs Resolved

We have resolved the issue where old gallery URLs to XJDB.com were not working due to the migration of the Photo Gallery. We were noticing lots of traffic with the old URL structure like http://www.xjdb.com/albums/xjs/img1234.jpg were not working.

All is good now so that means any really old references to images since 2005 or so will work again. :)

NAXJA SoCalFest t-shirts

SoCal NAXJA chapter was selling some nice XJ related t-shirts to help raise money for the San Bernardino National Forest. They are no longer available for order but a cool XJ t-shirt nonetheless

Planned activities, Friday:
Trail runs on San Bernardino National Forest, trails determined at Big Bear Discovery center, 9:00 am based on local conditions and event attendees. There will be trail runs for all attendees, guaranteed!

Planned activities, Sunday:
Trail maintenance of NAXJA's adopted trail 2N04. If we have a large number of volunteers maintenance will be done quickly and trail runs may be scheduled after maintenance.

Meeting Places:
Friday and Saturday: Big Bear Discovery Center, 9.00am
Saturday Night Dinner/Raffle: NAXJA SoCal Fest Headquarters, Serrano Campground sites 81/82 & 84/85 (adjoining sites).
Sunday: Big Bear Ranger Station, 9.00am

Camping/Lodging:
Serrano Campgrounds, reserve a site between 067 - 101, see camping thread for more information.

CB Channel:
Primary and secondary CB Channels for each run will be determined at drivers' meetings.

Dinner:
Rick and Bonnie will be putting on a Mexican food themed dinner. As usual it will be quite delicious.
$10 for a generous serving of food.
$15 for a bottomless plate of food (free refills).

Raffle:
There will be a raffle after Saturday's dinner, more information will come soon.

Notes:
Big Bear ranges in elevation from 6,000 - 8,000 feet expect the possibility of snow patches and some cold weather. The event will happen regardless of weather, watch weather reports and pack accordingly.

Come join us in Truckhaven (out by the Salton Sea) for the 11th Annual SoCalXJ Jeep Jamboree. Everyone is welcome. Dry camping, no hook-ups. There are no fees. Come one, come all. The 5th annual RockinXJ Jamboree AKA GoatFest will be Nov 6-8th, 2009 in Johnson Valley, CA. This event is sponsored by NAXJA and will have BBQ Tri tip dinner and raffle on Saturday night (Nov 7th) to help raise money for the San Bernardino National Forest Adopt-A-Trail program and also for a SBNF Ranger who lost his home in the wildfires. Camp will be on Means Dry Lake Bed. Trails from mild to Extremely wild.
